Foreign Societies

The SFR maintains regular exchanges with more than 34 national foreign societies. 

The SFR is also a member of international societies such as the ISR (International Society of Radiology) and the ESR (European Society of Radiology). 

It also maintains close relations with the CIR (Inter-American College of Radiology), which brings together all Ibero-American national groups, as well as the ASR (African Society of Radiology). 

The SFR also maintains close relations with: 

  • SRANF (Society of Radiology of Francophone Black Africa), which includes the following societies: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 
  • PAARS (Pan Arab Association of Radiological Societies), which includes national societies from the Maghreb and the Middle East, including the following countries: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Syria, Tunisia. 
  • CIR (Inter-American College of Radiology), which brings together all Ibero-American national groups. 
  • ASR (African Society of Radiology)."
